Possibility for realization of the "Equilibrium Core"concept,in which the self-generated MAs and LLFPs are confined, with either isotope or element separation for LLFPs is evaluated with respect to the nuclear properties for MOX,nitride and metallic fuels. From the viewpoint of the risk of geological disposal,it is possible to incinerate with element separation for Tc,I and Se even in the MOX fueled core. From the standpoint of the limit of confinable amounts ofLLFPs,on the other hand,Tc,I ,Se,Sn and Cs can be incinerated with the element separation in case that the nitride fuel is chosen.

Successful introduction scenarios into the practical application of FBR cycle have been investigated taking into account not only a domestic view point but also a worldwide view point. Considerations are paid on the discrimination between the influence factors that lead to the nuclear power introduction and those that lead to the FBR cycle introduction. The economic competitiveness is one of the most important factors along with the limitation for the CO release. Five major scenarios have been induced on view points of economy, reduction of radioactive waste, utilization of small scale FBRs, and Iimitation of uranium resource.
